Serve our church community
Our ministries of Worship and Welcome are all intended to glorify God and facilitate transforming encounters with God in all His fullness: Loving Father, Gracious and Redeeming Son, and Present and Powerful Holy Spirit. Here are some ways to get involved on Sunday mornings.
For more information on serving on Sunday Mornings, contact Director of Worship and Music Keith Scherer at email@example.com:
Worship Band: Do you love to worship God and have a passion or talent for singing or playing an instrument? The worship band would love to have you join them in leading our worship services.
Launches Wednesday, August 28, 7:00-8:15 pm in the Choir Room
We would love to see our choir grow significantly! Come find the joy in helping lead in congregational song as well as regular anthems to bless the congregation and give glory to God.
Jubellation Handbell Choir: The handbell choir blesses the Lord and our congregation seasonally at Christmas and Easter times.
Tech Ministries: If you have interest in multimedia or sound, we could use you for Sunday morning worship. Our Sound Crew designs and maintains the sound environment for all worship activities. The Multimedia Team provides screen support for Scripture, songs, video, slides, and anything else needed to enhance worship. Training is provided, no previous experience necessary.
Greeters: If you enjoy people, smiling, and saying hello, greeting ministry could be for you! Greeters meet guests and members as they come into the doors of the church for worship and help direct them to where they need to go.
Ushers: If you love hospitality, you should consider being an usher. Ushers offer a warm smile, assist people to their seats, collect the offering, and maintain a welcoming worship environment.
