Adult Education

Our Adult Education is primarily focused on Sunday mornings during our Sunday School hour (9:15-10:15), where we have several different class options available to help you grow in your knowledge and love of God and his Scriptures. Here are our current class offerings on Sunday mornings:

Homebuilders Class (MEN AND WOMEN)

Current Topic:  The Reformation

A complete study on the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation! We  will look at the conditions within the Roman Catholic Church that made it ripe for reformation. We will look at the pre reformation reformers. We will be looking at the major reformers; Luther, Zwingli, Bullinger, Knox, Calvin, etc. Finally, we look at some of the documents that came out of the Reformation.

Meets in Graham Hall West (downstairs)

Current Topic:  Anno Domini (The First 500 Years of the Church)

Why study church history, especially such ancient history? Beyond knowing the story of our faith ancestors, history offers us the opportunity to learn from the triumphs and failures of those before us. Come learn with other women from this study by Jennie Allen on the first 500 years of Christian history.

Meets in Dunham Hall (downstairs).

The Women's Sunday School class is currently on break for the month of July.

Men's Class (Men)

Current Topic:  The Book of Proverbs

Join with other men as we work through the Book of Proverbs together. Proverbs is a wisdom book with lots of challenging and encouraging sayings, all ultimately pointing us to Jesus Christ. Expect lots of discussion and a good time learning with other men.

Meets in Room 007 (downstairs)

Family Enrichment (Men and Women)

Current  Topic:  The Book of Judges

The Old Testament has a lot to teach us! In February, this class will be marching through the book of Judges. A typical class starts with praise and prayer time followed by study and discussion. Members are asked to read ahead to be ready for the coming week. This is a small class that would enjoy new members. Along with studying the Bible, we also have a passion for service – sometimes we use our Sunday School time to serve our community, putting God’s Word into action!

Meets in Graham Hall East (downstairs)

Maranatha (Men and Women)

Current Topic:  Experiencing the Heart of Jesus

Join us for this Max Lucado study on how much Jesus loves and cares for us. We are a small group, discussion based class and we move through the material at our own pace.

Meets in Room 005 (downstairs)
