Kathy has been a member of the office staff for several years. She wears many hats: answering phones, typing and printing the bulletins, prayer and Birthday postcards, fixing jams in the various machines, wedding consultant, and willing to help behind the scene where needed. She will greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome when you visit or call the church office. Kathy and Jim have been married for 40 years; has four children, four granddaughters, and two dogs. Kathy and her family live in Oswego, and have worshipped at FPC since 1991.

Director of Worship and Music
Tim Gregson is the Director of Worship and Music at First Presbyterian Church.
He has a Masters of Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary’s School of Church Music and Worship in Louisville, Kentucky, and a
Bachelor of Music from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. A
classically trained singer, he has performed as tenor soloist in numerous
productions of large works, among them Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Creation, and
J. S. Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and Mass in B minor.
His first love is for Jesus Christ and His Church, and longs to revive the long
church worship tradition of truly great music springing out of a love for the
Lord.
Tim’s philosophy of worship and music ministry is as follows: To serve the
Church of God in meekness and humility, to the best of my ability through the
use, teaching, and perpetuating of great church music, while constantly
continuing to improve both my and the congregation’s talents for the
glorification of God alone, that the congregation may be enriched, edified, and
enabled to worship Him “in Spirit and in Truth,” and to present themselves as
“spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God.”
