Welcome Jon and Sarah Hane

The Session approved the hiring of Jonathan Hane to be the full time Youth Pastor for First Presbyterian Church. Jonathan and his wife Sarah are from San Diego, CA where Jon was the High School Pastor at Paseo Del Rey church.
He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a degree in Christian Ministries with an emphasis in Youth Ministry.
Jon is committed to youth ministry and is passionate about reaching young people for Jesus Christ. Jon says that as Youth Pastor he is, “To shepherd and train up youth to be imitators of Christ, as well as to reach out to those who are ‘far off’, giving them the hope we have in Christ”.
His wife Sarah is majoring in Drama at Point Loma.

Jon began his ministry with us the first of January, 2008. Please keep Jon and Sarah in your prayers as they prepare to begin their calling here at First Pres.
